Description
The SP505R V is one of our top of the range premium roller mowers with many innovative features all designed to deliver a truly superb cut and finish with maximum efficiency and comfort for the user.
Powered by the new Honda GCVx170 Autochoke 167cc engine, the heavy duty high torque cone clutch transmission provides drive to the 127mm diameter full width steel rear roller that ensures a superb striped finish. Forward speed is infinitely variable between 3 - 4.9km/h allowing easy operation at a speed selected to suit the user and the conditions.
The SP505R V has a generous 48cm cutting width and is fitted with the Mountfield Twinclip blade with four cutting edges instead of two - the cutting edge of the Twinclip blade reduces the initial length of the grass with the second cutting edge reducing the finished length down to the desired height. The extra finely cut clippings are then blown into the 80 litre collector typically leading to an increase in collecting performance of around 20%. The cutting height is easily adjusted using the well balanced single lever to a choice of 8 positions within the 13-65mm range.
The handlebars are easily adjusted with a one motion click to a range of 3 positions and can fold over the engine reducing the amount of valuable space required to store in your garden, shed or garage. Cleaning after use is facilitated using a hose connection fitted to the chassis. Suitable for moderate size gardens up to 50m x 50m
Delivery Information: This lawnmower will be delivered by our premium White Glove delivery service. Your local Mountfield authorised dealer will prepare the machine with a thorough pre delivery inspection and then delivery it ready to use at a time convenient to you and demonstrate its safe use on handover.
