Service Engineer

Job Description

Job Title:             Service Engineer

Hours:                   9 hours per day  (8am - 5pm) 1hour Lunch

Responsible To:  Service manager

Salary:                   From £28,000 per annum

JobSummary:       Provide practical support to the

                              service department by servicing and repairing garden

                              and turf care equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Servicing and repair of domestic & commercial garden & turfcae equipment

Pre-repair inspection of each machine

Liaising with customers & registration of jobs when required.

Completion of related job cards

Preparation of equipment prior to entry to the service department

Fabrication & modification of parts and equipment

Spraying & Painting of equipment

Allocation of parts to each job

Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the workshop

Ensure the machine is cleaned readfy for customer collection

Provide service support to all other depatments as required

Attend service courses if requested.
