The Twinclip 55 SVEQ B features in our new Twinclip range that boasts new cutting technology – a double-layered blade with 4 cutting faces doubling mowing efficiency and power for the perfect cut. The leading edge of the Twinclip blade reduces the initial length of the grass with the second cutting edge reducing the finished length down to the desired height, the cuttings are cut and re-cut through the blades as they are blown into the collector, resulting in noticeable extra mowing capacity.
The 161cc Briggs & Stratton 775 IS Series InStart electric start engine provides plenty of power to deal with the toughest of conditions and a heavy duty aluminium cone clutch transmission has infinitely variable forward speeds, allowing you to cut at a pace that suits you and the conditions.
The galvanised chassis is a unique hybrid design with a powder coated deep drawn pressed steel cutting chamber with a J section lip for increased stiffness and the rigidity of a cast aluminium conveyor. This is the perfect shape to maximise air flow, which is futher enhanced by fins moulded in the anti-scalp plate at the front of the mower. The vibration control system (VCS) isolates vibrations, meaning a more comfortable, less tiring working experience and the cutting height is easily adjusted with a well-balanced single lever.
You can collect clippings into the 70 litre grass collector or if the grass is longer, remove the collector and rear discharge. You can simply insert the mulching plug and drive in Multiclip mode or insert the mulching plug and remove the deck guard for side discharge.
Mulching is by far the easiest way to cut your grass and the innovative blade and deck design also makes the lawnmower quieter. The Stiga Multiclip system cuts and re-cuts the grass into tiny pieces that simply wilt away, returning valuable nutrients to the soil to encourage beautiful green growth. You don’t need to rake up the clippings or empty a collector, which means you can cut the grass about 30% faster compared to a collecting mower.
Easily operated by a single lever, the deck has a choice of 7 cutting height positions ranging from 25 to 77mm and will produce a great finish on your lawn whatever the conditions. In just one movement, Twinclip will cut the grass twice, doubling the efficiency, improving the finish and optimising grass collection.
Cleaning after use is facilitated using a hose connection fitted to the chassis. The robust handle bars are easily adjusted to a choice of 3 postiions with a simple one motion click, and fold over the engine for easy storage.
The Twinclip 55 SVEQ B comes complete with a mulching kit and side discharge facility and is supported by a 5 year manufacturer's warranty. The 53cm/21" cutting width makes this great mower suitable for moderate size gardens up 50m x 50m.
